How to Add a New Alert Contact in the MATOS Monitoring Website

 

This guide helps you set up a new contact to receive alerts for specific monitored assets like medical fridges.

 

Step 1: Log In

 

Log in to your MATOS Monitoring account.

 

Step 2: Go to Alert Contact Settings

  • Navigate to SettingsAll Settings
  • Click on Alert Contact

 

Step 3: Create a New Contact

 

Click the “Create New” button at the top right of the page.

 

Step 4: Enter Contact Information

  • Select the Organisation / Customer Name
  • Enter the contact’s name, phone number, and email address
  • Tick the “All Hours” checkbox to receive alerts 24/7
  • Tick the “Alert Tier – Tier 1” option for primary alerts

 

Step 5: Assign the Contact to Assets

  • On the right-hand side, tick the boxes next to the assets (e.g., fridges) this contact should receive alerts for.

 

Step 6: Test the Setup

  • Send a test SMS and email to ensure the contact was set up correctly.

 

Step 7: Save

 

Click “SAVE” to confirm the changes.

 

Optional: Subscribe to Reports

 

If the contact should receive regular reports, tick the “PDF Report” checkbox to enable weekly/monthly report delivery.
