MATOS Monitoring – Comprehensive Issue Summary for Chatbot Training
1.
Platform Access and Login Management
Users access the MATOS Monitoring platform via a web browser (Chrome recommended) by navigating to www.matosmonitoring.com. Login is completed using credentials provided by the administrator. If the user selects the “Remember” option, login status will persist across sessions. The platform provides a logout option under the username dropdown in the top-right corner.
Email verification is essential, as it enables self-service password recovery. If an email is not verified, users must contact support@matosmonitoring.com for password assistance.
2.
System Interface & Navigation Structure
The MATOS Monitoring interface consists of three major navigation components:
Hovering over alert indicators or usernames opens contextual options such as navigation to affected assets or logging out.
3.
Dashboard and Asset Overview
The Dashboard is designed for high-level monitoring, particularly for up to 10 selected “Critical” or “Favourite” assets. It includes:
Users can add, reorder, and manage assets within the Critical Asset List, allowing customization of what appears on the dashboard by default.
4.
Alerts, Rules, and Notification System
The MATOS alert system is tiered to meet international cold-chain compliance standards. The system tracks real-time air temperature (without buffering), and generates alerts according to a cascading logic:
Users can configure repeat alerts (e.g., every 5 minutes) and optional “Return to Normal” messages once conditions stabilize. There are three options for repeated alerts: repeat all, none, or only critical.
SMS Alert Limits: Each customer is allocated a default SMS quota (20 per device, 50 per account per 24 hours). If limits are exceeded, SMS will be suspended for 24 hours, although email alerts will continue without restriction.
5.
Reports and Data Export
There are multiple methods to view and export asset data:
Scheduled Reports: Reports can be scheduled for automatic delivery via email to account holders or designated alert contacts, with options for daily, weekly, or monthly reports. The default format is defined on the report generation page.
6.
Asset Management & Settings
Each monitored item (e.g., refrigerator or room) is defined as an Asset, linked to a Device (the physical data acquisition hardware). Within the platform:
Digital Inputs monitor binary states (e.g., door open/close, power on/off), and events are displayed on graphs as colored dots. These are also used in reports for auditing purposes.
7.
Contact Management and Alert Assignments
Users can manage alert recipients from the “Alert Contacts” section under Settings:
8.
Alert Management & History
From the Overview or Active Alerts pages:
Users can view cleared alert history by clicking the “View Cleared Alerts” button, supporting full traceability.
9.
Account Structure & Permissions
MATOS uses a hierarchical account structure:
